LOVE AND LAW OF ATTRACTION:)

Recently, i love to read.... Every morning before i could start my work in lab, i just try to enjoy a cup of coffee while reading. I enjoyed the moment. I totally agree to my Prof, " U all ah.. should read more!!"this is exactly his favorite quote. Basically, i am reading about anything which i can learned about. Few days ago, i come across an article, i enjoy reading it. So i decided to share it with everyone here. The article is about LOVE AND LAW OF ATTRACTION.

According to the article, Only a loving person — one who is already loving — can find the right partner. It means; if you are unhappy you will find somebody who is unhappy. Unhappy people are attracted towards unhappy people. And it is good, it is natural. It is good that the unhappy people are not attracted towards happy people; otherwise they would destroy their happiness. It is perfectly okay.

Only happy people are attracted towards happy people. The same attracts the same. Intelligent people are attracted towards intelligent people; stupid people are attracted towards stupid people. You meet people of the same plane. So the first thing to remember is: a relationship is bound to be bitter if it has grown out of unhappiness. First be happy, be joyful, be celebrating, and then you will find some other soul celebrating and there will be a meeting of two dancing souls and a great dance will arise out of it.

Don’t ask for a relationship out of loneliness, no. Then you are moving in a wrong direction. Then the other will be used as a means and the other will use you as a means. And nobody wants to be used as a means! Every single individual is an end unto himself. It is immoral to use anybody as a means. If you can be happy when you are alone, you have learned the secret of being happy. Now you can be happy together. If you are happy, then you have something to share, to give. And when you give you get; it is not the other way. Then a need arises to love somebody.

Ordinarily the need is to be loved by somebody. It is a wrong need. It is a childish need; you are not mature. It is a child’s attitude. A mature person is one who comes to know the other need: that now I have to love somebody. The need to be loved is childish, immature. The need to love is mature. And when you are ready to love somebody, a beautiful relationship will arise; otherwise not.
“Is it possible for two people in a relationship to be bad for each other?” Yes, that’s what is happening all over the world. To be good is very difficult. You are not good even to yourself. How can you be good to somebody else?

You don’t even love yourself! How can you love somebody else? Love yourself, be good to yourself. The first and foremost thing is to be loving towards yourself. Don’t be hard; be soft. Care about yourself. Learn how to forgive yourself — again and again and again — seven times, seventy-seven times, seven hundred seventy-seven times. Learn how to forgive yourself. Don’t be hard; don’t be antagonistic towards yourself. Then you will flower. In that flowering you will attract some other flower. It is natural. Stones attract stones; flowers attract flowers. Then there is a relationship which has grace, which has beauty, which has a benediction in it. If you can find such a relationship, your relationship will grow into prayer;your love will become an ecstasy and through love you will know what the divine is.

BIRTHDAY:)

" Happy Birthday, Uthaya". Today is 29th August 2010. Uthaya's 20th birthday. Wishing him a great year ahead and may the blessings be. Love u always...."
Uthaya is my younger brother. He is 20 years old this year. Wow...time is flying vry fast!!! I still remember how he look like when he was a baby. He was the naugthiest among my family member. He had 2 rabbit tooth, shaved hair( pity on him, he was in Chinese school, so he had to keep his hair really really short), his white school uniform always had the food sauce stain and he was a fat boy those time. I was amazed how he reduce his weight, he is thin now. He was called by so many names, the popular one were " ODAYAPA"; means breaker... he loves to break all things in home. Especially he had a special capability to break the things which he is not supposed to. When he is holding something , u just need to say, "Uthaya, be careful!!!, thats it. U can hear a loud noise of glass breaking into pieces. Ha.ha..ha..

We had a great time together. We had a simple celebration at restaurant for dinner. Anna pay the bills of course. All the siblings gather, and had really good time. Vinod was actively cracking jokes, all i did was...... eat and laugh:) I try to take some photo but mission was incomplete due to depleted batteries( i learn a lesson to charge the camera ealier). Thanking God for the great moment. Hoping tht all of us, will stay united like these forever.

Fairytale....

'' Once upon a time, there lived a little girl, the girl is a good girl with all the good attitude( she is hard working, she is kind, she is humble, she is blaa..blaa..blaaaa )...hmmm...then she had an evil stepmother, one day a Fairy came to her, and ask for her wishes. At the end, she found her prince charming and lived HAPPILY EVER AFTER.''....... stop it!!!! Wake up, i mean wake up, Reva. This is just a fairytale. This will never happen in real world.

My little heart wander, why those fairytale exist if it will never happen to us. When i was young, i mean, when i was kid, i always have my own fantasy world. I will imagine tht i'm the character of the story i listen. I am Cinderella. i am Snow white, i am Sleeping beauty, i am Rapunzell..... hmmm the list is never ending list. Ha..ha..ha... I'm sure most of the girls have experienced what i hv gone through. The best part of these stories... are THE PRINCE CHARMING!!! It gives a hope tht true love do exists. Girls believe on prince charming, they will wait for their turn to gets their true love. Patiently waits till the gentle breeze of love touches them. Ouchh...so dramatic. Another famous ending for these stories, the prince and princess lived happily ever after. Do u think happily ever after really exists? I think no, thats y they didn't show their lifes after wedding. They were so smart to finish the stories on the wedding day ( i think the narrator well understand tht life after marriage is not called happily ever after...hee.hee.heee).

But as u grew up, we starts to leave the fantasy world. We were tied up with works, things around us, the lifestyle.....slowly we forget our fantasy world. Colourful fantasy world now changes into dim black and white real world. The pink gown change into formal slack and stripe shirt, the pumpkin chariot change into Perdua Viva car, the singing bird change into Radio FM, the castle change into single storey house......... things change completely. This is life!! Changes are permanent.

Fairytale is just a dreamland. It gives us hope and entertainment. It develop girl's creativity. But real world is for REAL. In real world, we have to be alert...no fairies or gobblin will help us, we have to help ourselves. We have to grab all the opportunities and move forward. Hard work will pay off one day. To all the girls out there, leave your fairy land, live our real world. There will be no prince charming coming on white horse to rescue us when we 're in danger, we are the one have to safe our lives.. bye bye..Fairytale.

Determination......

In 1883, a creative engineer named John Roebling was inspired by an idea to build a spectacular bridge connecting New York with the Long Island. However bridge building experts throughout the world thought that this was an impossible feat and told Roebling to forget the idea. It just could not be done. It was not practical. It had never been done before.

Roebling could not ignore the vision he had in his mind of this bridge. He thought about it all the time and he knew deep in his heart that it could be done. He just had to share the dream with someone else. After much discussion and persuasion he managed to convince his son Washington, an up and coming engineer, that the bridge in fact could be built.

Working together for the first time, the father and son developed concepts of how it could be accomplished and how the obstacles could be overcome. With great excitement and inspiration, and the headiness of a wild challenge before them, they hired their crew and began to build their dream bridge.

The project started well, but when it was only a few months underway a tragic accident on the site took the life of John Roebling. Washington was injured and left with a certain amount of brain damage, which resulted in him not being able to walk or talk or even move.

"We told them so."
"Crazy men and their crazy dreams."
"It`s foolish to chase wild visions."

Everyone had a negative comment to make and felt that the project should be scrapped since the Roeblings were the only ones who knew how the bridge could be built. In spite of his handicap Washington was never discouraged and still had a burning desire to complete the bridge and his mind was still as sharp as ever.

He tried to inspire and pass on his enthusiasm to some of his friends, but they were too daunted by the task. As he lay on his bed in his hospital room, with the sunlight streaming through the windows, a gentle breeze blew the flimsy white curtains apart and he was able to see the sky and the tops of the trees outside for just a moment.

It seemed that there was a message for him not to give up. Suddenly an idea hit him. All he could do was move one finger and he decided to make the best use of it. By moving this, he slowly developed a code of communication with his wife.

He touched his wife's arm with that finger, indicating to her that he wanted her to call the engineers again. Then he used the same method of tapping her arm to tell the engineers what to do. It seemed foolish but the project was under way again.

For 13 years Washington tapped out his instructions with his finger on his wife's arm, until the bridge was finally completed. Today the spectacular Brooklyn Bridge stands in all its glory as a tribute to the triumph of one man's indomitable spirit and his determination not to be defeated by circumstances. It is also a tribute to the engineers and their team work, and to their faith in a man who was considered mad by half the world. It stands too as a tangible monument to the love and devotion of his wife who for 13 long years patiently decoded the messages of her husband and told the engineers what to do.

Perhaps this is one of the best examples of a never-say-die attitude that overcomes a terrible physical handicap and achieves an impossible goal.

Often when we face obstacles in our day-to-day life, our hurdles seem very small in comparison to what many others have to face. The Brooklyn Bridge shows us that dreams that seem impossible can be realised with determination and persistence, no matter what the odds are.

Even the most distant dream can be realized with determination and persistence.
So, ask yourself what is stoping you from your dream? Don't worry what people around you say, what is the most important thing is...What your heart says... Trust your inner voice.

Ways to handle STRESS.....

Stress out is something very common in ones life. I'm sure very one had been stressed out, and if someone is proudly saying tht he /she never been stressed out.... watchout him/her, they are GREAT LIERS!!!! Alrite, the issue is how to handle it? Like it or not, we hv to go through it, so lets face it in a more matured way.

Unmatured ways of handling stress, ('' I think''):
1. Shout and yell at everyone.
2. Sit and cry in toilets ( until a long queue waits outside)
3. Quarel with siblings for silly things.
4. Speed on roads.
5. Cursing all the drivers on the road.... especially the car infront of urs ( some even worst, they will just overtake and show vulgar sign).
6. Keep complaining about others ( as those the whole world is taking revenge on him)

MY ways of handling stress:
1. Try to think positive ( ya.... i know it is not easy but it help to save the condition).
2. Eat......... especially chocolate ( although u gain weight, but still, u can reduce ur stress... u lost something, to gain something:)) ha..ha..ha..).
3. Listen to music.... a good ones, not the one which can make ur head spin.
4. Watch funny videos in YOUTUBE.
5. Sleep...( i know it is difficult to shut ur mind when ur stress, ur subconscious mind will keep thinking about the incident tht make u stress, BUT give a try.... TRY ur Best to SLEEP).
6. Analyse about the condition so it won't repeat again.
7. Wash dishes. ( Trust me, this really helps me a lot. Whenever i'm stressed in lab, i will quickly go into washing room and wash all the glass beaker and lab equipment.)
8. Write blog just like what i'm doing now (don't care whether others are reading or not, just write to release tension..ha..ha..ha..)

Basically, everyone has their own way of handling stress. Watever way is it, just do it. It is better for urs to control the stress rather thn letting it to control us. And for women, it is absolutely OK to cry... but don't cry too much laa. Get rid off the tears, and figure out how to solve the problem. Don't use tears to win a situation, PLS use brains. Solution is more important than emotion.

AGE IS JUST NUMBER......:)

I have successfully celebrated quarter of century this year. Happy coz had been in this beatiful world for 25 years already but at the same time sad coz i'm getting old. u know....women's fear of getting old; wrinkles around the eyes, dry skin, monopause, white hairs, teeth drops....ussshhhh.... cann't imagine. The worst quote describing women's age is " Men's life starts at 40, while Women's expire at the age of 40". Arghhhhhhh................

But this is not i want for sure. I want to have a graceful aging. Do u know wat is meaning of graceful aging.....? Graceful ageing means for a beautiful and soothing proceess of aging. We will accept the truth we r getting old and take the process easily and comfortable. It also means that u will be in the mood of steady and calm.
Complicating?.... ok let me put it simple so tht everyone will hv a picture of wat is graceful aging.

'Have u seen, old lady taking her morning walk in the park at 7am? She will smile and greet everyone who passes by her, her face will be looking calm and just like in deep thought. If u ask her what she wants, her answer will be simple. She will ask for happiness of her family. She will reply, " I'm old ready, i don't want anything, i'm waiting for my time to go back to GOD"..., ths is an example of graceful ageing'.

Old age people who lead life without depending on others, who can show unconditional love to everyone (including their daughter in law), who give advise wisely, who teach the whole family the meaning of cultures and tradision are the one having graceful ageing. If i were given a chance to lead another 25 years in my life(i will be 50 years old then).., i wish i will lead my golden age with gracefully.

How to attained these graceful ageing? It is simple. Gain knowledge as much as u can. Don't close the door of learning in ur life coz learning is a life long process. Spend your time, reading good books. Reading books is much much better than watching tv serial at the old age. Old age is beatifull period in our life, where we were given temporary visa by GOD to make unperfect life to be little more perfect. Once the call from GOD arrived, you have to leave the world no matter what happen. It is just like, the climax of movie, the value of the whole movie is condensed more to last chapther. Old age is also like the last chapter of our life story. Treasure it.

Smile.....

Smile......... I was very impressed to see this video. Suddenly, feel like 1000 watt bulb was turn on me. I did nothing...just smile heart fully. A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.

So....smile..........................."eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...."
