Spirituality...

Basically, this month, i learned a lot about spiritualism. I attended few courses to develop my inner self. I think i learn something new. The most intersting one was " THE ART OF LIVING". It was a 3 days course. It was founded in 1981 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, The Art of Living is a not-for-profit, educational, and humanitarian NGO engaged in stress-management and service initiatives. The organization operates globally in 151 countries. The organization's activities are guided by Sri Sri’s philosophy of peace: “Unless we have a stress-free mind and a violence-free society, we cannot achieve world peace.” To help individuals get rid of stress and experience inner peace, The Art of Living offers stress-elimination programs which include breathing techniques, meditation and yoga. These programs have helped millions around the world to overcome stress, depression, and violent tendencies. The Art of Living has spread peace across communities through diverse humanitarian projects, including conflict resolution, disaster relief, sustainable rural development, empowerment of women, prisoner rehabilitation, education for all, and environmental sustainability.
Sudarshan Kriya breathing technique taught by them is very useful for me. I realised how important is our breath. It help me to remain calm and active. Actually body gets tired due to lack of oxygen supply to brain...now i can relate what i learn in my biology class during my Form 5. Continuos practice of this yoga, can cure sinus. I hope after this i can stop sneezing in the morning.
Hmmmm...... learning is always fun, but i hope tht i can put or implement them on my daily life. Nothing will happen if we didn't apply what we learn in our life. Everything need practice and discipline. Go..go...go...Revathee!!!

Malaysia Day...:)

16th September 1963, is a special day for all Malaysian. It is when Malaysia was formed. The Merdeka anniversary on August 31 to mark the nation’s Independence in 1957 is however not very meaningful to the people of Sabah and Sarawak. This is because it was September 16,1963 that Malaysia was formed with the union of Sabah and Sarawak with Malaya to establish a new federation ( this is what my History teacher thought me).Now it become more meaningful to us, coz it was a PUBLIC HOLIDAY!
Yes, this is typical Malaysian mentality. Most of us concern and celebrate for the holidays not for the reason. We are very happy not for the Malaysia's Day but for the holiday. This is the truth..... I am sure, still many out there enjoy their public holidays without even knowing why it was given. We just love public holidays. If it falls on Monday or Friday, then it is called perfect...
I hope people don't deny this truth.... Ok, tell me what u will do first when u got a new calendar for new year? First, u will check for your birthday...then ur beloved birthdays, then...check for Big celebration date...then of course for sure u will check for any other public days for tht year.... hmmmm... love holidayss..( Holidays are Jolly dayss...):)
Honestly i too love holidays. All of us have the right to enjoy our holidays. But at the same time, i just hope tht we understand the real purpose for the public holiday given. Malaysia's Day should be celebrated, at least by singing National Anthem or even by waving National's Flag. Then all of us can go on with our plans. By this, at least the Public Holiday given make worth!!!

"HAPPY MALAYSIA DAY!!! Love u, Malaysia:)"

LOVE AND LAW OF ATTRACTION:)

Recently, i love to read.... Every morning before i could start my work in lab, i just try to enjoy a cup of coffee while reading. I enjoyed the moment. I totally agree to my Prof, " U all ah.. should read more!!"this is exactly his favorite quote. Basically, i am reading about anything which i can learned about. Few days ago, i come across an article, i enjoy reading it. So i decided to share it with everyone here. The article is about LOVE AND LAW OF ATTRACTION.

According to the article, Only a loving person — one who is already loving — can find the right partner. It means; if you are unhappy you will find somebody who is unhappy. Unhappy people are attracted towards unhappy people. And it is good, it is natural. It is good that the unhappy people are not attracted towards happy people; otherwise they would destroy their happiness. It is perfectly okay.

Only happy people are attracted towards happy people. The same attracts the same. Intelligent people are attracted towards intelligent people; stupid people are attracted towards stupid people. You meet people of the same plane. So the first thing to remember is: a relationship is bound to be bitter if it has grown out of unhappiness. First be happy, be joyful, be celebrating, and then you will find some other soul celebrating and there will be a meeting of two dancing souls and a great dance will arise out of it.

Don’t ask for a relationship out of loneliness, no. Then you are moving in a wrong direction. Then the other will be used as a means and the other will use you as a means. And nobody wants to be used as a means! Every single individual is an end unto himself. It is immoral to use anybody as a means. If you can be happy when you are alone, you have learned the secret of being happy. Now you can be happy together. If you are happy, then you have something to share, to give. And when you give you get; it is not the other way. Then a need arises to love somebody.

Ordinarily the need is to be loved by somebody. It is a wrong need. It is a childish need; you are not mature. It is a child’s attitude. A mature person is one who comes to know the other need: that now I have to love somebody. The need to be loved is childish, immature. The need to love is mature. And when you are ready to love somebody, a beautiful relationship will arise; otherwise not.
“Is it possible for two people in a relationship to be bad for each other?” Yes, that’s what is happening all over the world. To be good is very difficult. You are not good even to yourself. How can you be good to somebody else?

You don’t even love yourself! How can you love somebody else? Love yourself, be good to yourself. The first and foremost thing is to be loving towards yourself. Don’t be hard; be soft. Care about yourself. Learn how to forgive yourself — again and again and again — seven times, seventy-seven times, seven hundred seventy-seven times. Learn how to forgive yourself. Don’t be hard; don’t be antagonistic towards yourself. Then you will flower. In that flowering you will attract some other flower. It is natural. Stones attract stones; flowers attract flowers. Then there is a relationship which has grace, which has beauty, which has a benediction in it. If you can find such a relationship, your relationship will grow into prayer;your love will become an ecstasy and through love you will know what the divine is.
